About Chronos Capital
Nic Kohler, Willem Roos, Michael Jordaan, and Roger Grobler are the founding partners of Chronos. Over the past three decades, we’ve worked together in various capacities and have been investing and researching investment opportunities as a team since 2016 for our own investments and for external clients.
Chronos provides research recommendations for investments in businesses that gain outsized advantages from data-driven decision-making and advanced technology. Our main client is Lima Investment Management Pte. Ltd, the investment manager to Chronos Capital Fund VCC in Singapore.
Our portfolio companies, like rain and, Chronos Capital Fund’s portfolio companies, like TymeBank, are reshaping industries by using technology to enable new business models in significant markets.
As founding partners of Chronos, we are entrepreneurs and operators at heart. Collectively, we’ve been CEOs, founders, and leaders of both startups and large-scale businesses. This hands-on experience enables us to work closely with the management teams of the companies we invest in, or recommend to investors and investment advisers. We understand the challenges of building and scaling businesses and bring that perspective to every investment. At Chronos, we believe in active partnership, working with and supporting the teams at our portfolio companies and at our clients' portfolio companies
