Nic Kohler, Willem Roos, Michael Jordaan, and Roger Grobler are the founding partners of Chronos Capital. Over the past three decades, we’ve worked together in various capacities and have been investing as a team since 2016.
Chronos Capital invests in businesses that gain outsized advantages from data-driven decision-making and advanced technology. Our portfolio companies, like rain and TymeBank, are reshaping industries by using technology to enable new business models in significant markets.
As founding partners, we are entrepreneurs and operators at heart. Collectively, we’ve been CEOs, founders, and leaders of both startups and large-scale businesses. This hands-on experience enables us to work closely with the management teams of the companies we back. We understand the challenges of building and scaling businesses and bring that perspective to every investment.
